Competition Terms & Conditions


Introduction

By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions. The competition is being run by Manawatū District Council.


Eligibility to Enter

The competition is open to entrants of all age, if you are under 16 years parental permission is required for entry. Manawatū District Council employees are excluded from the draw.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.

The competition is completely free to enter.

To enter you must either sign up to the Make your mark on Manawatū website and follow the What Matters Manawatū project or you must fill out the sign-up form to receive emails regarding the Long-term Plan (What Matters Manawatū).


The Prize

The winning prize will be one of two foldable electric bikes. Brand name: Rideez, Model number: CF46 in Black.

The use of specific brands as prizes by Manawatū District Council does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

Manawatū District Council's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.


Winner Announcement

The winners will be chosen at random and notified via the email address or phone number provided within 7 days of the competition closing (31st August 2023). Manawatū District Council will arrange how the winner will receive their prize.


Data Protection and Publicity

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Manawatū District Council for the purposes of administering the competition and for the other purposes such as any email updates regarding long term plan if the tick box has been selected.

The winner's first name will be announced on Manawatū District Council's website and social media channels.


Limitation of Liability

Manawatū District Council accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants because of participating in the competition or being the prize winner.
